KINGTON Langley's Margaret Murray lifted the national One Ball title after success in the final at Surbiton.
From an entry of nearly 500, in 37 heats numbers were whittled down to 40, who played in the final, including Murray and clubmate Ian Morrison.
Murray collected first prize - an engraved crystal decanter, the same competition having been won last year by Kington Langley's Richard Jones.
Kington Langley’s own lawns – which were re-laid last year – are progressing well, and will be unveiled in an opening ceremony on June 1.
