DAUNTSEY'S School pupil Monty Woodward will represent Wiltshire at 2018 Butterfly National Schools Individual Table Tennis Championships this weekend
More than 350 players, representing 50 counties, will gather at the Aldersley Leisure Village in Wolverhampton for the largest one-day event in the table tennis calendar in England.
After the championships, the English Schools table tennis committee will select representative teams to play in the invitational international to be held in June with teams from England, Guernsey, Ireland, Scotland and Wales all competing.
Woodward will be competing in the U13 category and said: "I'm super proud to be representing both the school and Wiltshire in the championships. It's a bit daunting but I'll do my best.''
