WHILE thirteen may be lucky for some, that wasn’t the case for Bradford Town as their unbeaten run was brought to an end by Street.

Danny Greaves was looking to avoid defeat for the 13th time when his troops travelled to high-flying Street in the Toolstation League Premier Division.

But Bradford found themselves outgunned as the hosts completed a 2-0 win, with goals from Josh Wadham and Steve Murray, to move top of the Toolstation League Premier Division standings.

Both teams were also reduced to 10 men, Street’s David O’Hare saw red after collecting two bookings in the 82nd minute, while Billy Fletcher was also dismissed for Bradford after the final whistle.

It was a different outcome for Melksham Town, they were 2-0 winners away from home at Shepton Mallet.

Ricky Hulbert got the ball rolling for Neil and Joe Kirkpatrick, while George Bendle emerged from the bench to seal the win in the 92nd minute.

The slump continued for Devizes Town as they drew 1-1 away at Portishead Town, their goal came from Ali Bradley.

Goalkeeper Ad Walters will also receive some plaudits after saving a penalty in the 85th minute of the game.

Chippenham Park produced a dogged performance on the road as goals from Ben Pring and Darrin Moss saw them claim a 2-2 draw with Bristol Telephones.

Lewis Graham’s strike was merely a consolation for Warminster Town as they were thumped 5-1 at home by Cheddar.

Calne Town edged a thrilling contest with Bishop Sutton as they stretched their unbeaten run to three games with a 4-3 win at home, Stuart Windsor notched twice, while Billy Gleed and Bill Boakes also registered.

Jamie Harrison’s side were edged out 1-0 for the second time in as many weeks when they came up against hosts Chard Town, his Corsham Town have now lost their last three.
