DEVIZES Netball Club’s junior players enjoyed a glittering awards evening, as an auction of promises raised more than £900 for a tour to Disneyland Paris next April.
The club, which has teams playing in the Moonraker Junior League, as well as two U16 and one U14 team competing in the Moonraker Senior League, has grown steadily in the last three years and now has more than 140 members aged 9-16.
The player of the year accolades went to Erin Lyttle, Trixie Beddoe, Abi Ridout, Maddie Piper and Amy Waters (U11); Polly Boother and Millie Gaiger (U11 Performance); Talia Atkas-Owen and Erica Goodridge (U12); Anna Zammit (U16); Holly Gaiger and Holly Rawes (Jax Development); Rosey Mortimer and Maisie Arnold (Jax2); Imogen Kelly (Jax 1); and Henrietta Pritchard (U14 Regional).
