ORGANISATIONS across Wiltshire and Swindon are now able to apply for a share of £100,000 over the next year to help young people get into sport in the county, as part of the Sport England Sportivate Funding initiative.

Now in its sixth year, the Olympic-inspired programme, aimed to encourage more young people to take up sport and physical activity, will be awarding grants to support local sporting projects focusing on those working with 19-25 year old males and 11-25 year old females.

If you work within an organisation that engages this group of young people or know someone that does, then get in touch.

The application process for Sportivate Year Six has begun. The deadline for applications is Friday, January 22.

If you require assistance with your application, get in touch with Jordan Rose at Jordan@wiltssport.org.uk or call 01225 781500 or see wiltssport.org.uk/funding/sportivate.
