TRAINER Richard Farnan believes that Ben Heap is ready to unleash months of pent up frustration when he makes debut this month.

The Chippenham-based former kick-boxing champion has finally been licenced by the British Boxing Board of Control – three months after he was originally set to make his debut.

And after a number of false dawns, the debutant middleweight is raring to go when he boxes at the Grange Drive Leisure Centre in Swindon on Sunday, December 20.

“Ben is with me twice a week, the hardest job I have is make sure he gets enough rest when he is away training,” Farnan said.

“There is a lot of frustration that has built up after being forced to wait for his debut and he’ll take it out on whoever he has to face.

“He has got his licence now and he just can’t wait to get started.”
