RICHARD Hannon appears to hold the key to Saturday’s totepool Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar.
Heading the weights is Hannon’s Gutaifan, winner of the Prix Robert Pain and Flying Childers this season as well as finishing second to Shalaa in the Prix Morny.
Due to his wins in Group Two company Gutaifan would have to concede 7lb or more to all of his rivals.
Hannon could also run Orvar, a winner in Turkey, Lexington Law, Log Out Island, Rising Sunshine, Papa Luigi and Receding Waves.
In-form Richard Fahey has a several bullets to fire at another big pot including Mr Lupton, winner of a valuable prize at Doncaster.
Powerallied, Garcia and In My Place are also among the possibles from Musley Bank.
Hugo Palmer’s Gifted Master created a nice impression earlier in the season but will have been off for 100 days if he runs.
Karl Burke’s London Protocol, Mark Johnston’s filly Delizia and John Quinn’s Ancient Astronaut are all among a huge list of confirmations.
