JUST one week after crashing heavily at the Junior Tour of Wales, 17-year-old Pete Kibble was back in action.
On Saturday he was second in his age category at the National CTT Junior Time Trial championships.
His time of 21.42 was only bettered by his Velocity Globalbike team-mate Lewis Bulley.
Speaking after the race, Kibble said: “I’m happy with this result as most of these riders are time trial specialists and not road racers like me.”
On Sunday, Kibble travelled to Wales to compete in Port Talbot Wheelers 25-mile time trial.
He finished third, smashing his personal best, recording a time of 51 minutes 19 seconds, averaging 29.3mph.
