John Blackmore, from Lavington, was next with 31 lb 4 oz of carp, followed byErnie Jones, from Trowbridge, with 30 lb.

THE Wilts Angling Evening match at Leech Pool was won by Pete Neate, from Holt, with 106 lb of carp, ahead of Ian Willetts, from Bradford (79 lb 10 oz of carp) and Ben Ludwell, from Rode, (79 lb 8 oz of carp).
Other placings: 4. Darren Fletcher Melksham 63 lb 8 oz; 5. Dave Blackwell Trowbridge 56 lb; 6. Ryan Hurd Trowbridge 25 lb.
THE Friday Airsprung Evening match on the Kennet & Avon Canal at Avoncliffe went to Richard Whitmarsh, from Frome, with 9 lb 6 oz of roach, perch and skimmers.
Dean Adams, from Bradford, was second with 7 lb 1 oz of roach and skimmers and Phil Eggleton, from Bradford, third with 5 lb 8 oz of roach, skimmers and perch.
Other placings: 4. Oliver Keates Hilperton 4 lb 5 oz; 5. Dave Morrison Trowbridge 3 lb 15 oz; 6. Bill Turner Trowbridge 2 lb 15 oz.
SATURDAY’S Blue Circle Open was won Martin White, from Westbury, with 133 lb 4 oz of carp as Barry Needham, from Trowbridge, took runner up spot with 102 lb 12 oz of carp.
Stuart White, from Chippenham, was third with 84 lb 14 oz of carp and the silvers prize went to Pete Neate, from Holt, with a weight of 31 lb 8 oz.
Other placings: 4. Pete Neate 82 lb 12 oz; 5. Ian Willetts Bradford 61 lb 8 oz.
SUNDAY’S Lavington match at Ellis Lake saw Graham Pearce, from West Lavington, win with 109 lb 2 oz of carp.
Tony McCarthy, from Marlborough, took runner up spot with 67 lb of carp and Jason Maslin, from Worton, took third prize with 54 lb 4 oz of carp.
Other placings: 4. Don Keates Hilperton 44 lb 12 oz; 5. Kevin Morris Devizes 40 lb 4 oz; 6. John Williams Devizes 29 lb 4 oz.
THE Wilts Angling Open match at Crookwood Lake on Sunday was won by Alan Parson, from Devizes, with 9 lb 5 oz of bream, tench and small carp, ahead of Pete Neate, from Holt, with 7 lb 8 oz of tench and skimmers.
Nathaniel Johnson, from Melksham, took third with 4 lb 8 oz of roach and skimmers.
Other placings: 4. Darren Fletcher Melksham 3 lb 12 oz; 5. Rob Kepner Melksham 3 lb 4 oz; 6. Alan Gibbs Devizes 2 lb 14 oz.
THE Airsprung match fished on Sunday at Farleigh Wood went to Steve Ince, from Trowbridge, with 37 lb 14 oz of carp, ahead of Kevin Hanson, from Trowbridge, with 31 lb 10 oz of carp.
Tim Martin, from Frome, clinched third prize with 20 lb 7 oz of carp and skimmers.
