HOME matchman Nigel Reeves carried off top prize in Sunday’s Calne Open match at Hazeland with 12 lb of chub and dace.
Simon Fear was runner up with 7 lb 6 oz of roach and dace, followed by Trevor Payne, from Corsham, with 5 lb of chub.
Other placings: 44. Tim Carr Calne 3 lb 4 oz; 5. Martin Pallett Newbury 2 lb 12 oz; 6. Martin Dolman Calne 2 lb 8 oz.
SUNDAY’S Wilts Angling Open at Shearwater saw Kevin Rowles, from Devizes, land 110 lb of bream to win.
Martin Barrett, from Trowbridge, was next with 82 lb 4 oz of bream, with Roland Lucas, from Frome, third with 78 lb 12 oz of bream.
Other placings: 4. Gary Etheridge Devizes 68 lb 8 oz; 5. Matt Skyrme Trowbridge 60 lb 12 oz; 6. Jim Butcher Bradford 57 lb 0 oz.
