POULSHOT’S Amelia Bissett has been selected to be part of the 12U Great Britain tennis team against Belgium in a Friendly Team Cup event on February 9-12.
Bissett trains at the high performance centre at Team Bath, attended all of the national training camps in the last year, receiving rave reviews.
A member of the Wiltshire LTA 12U squad, she has also been selected for the County 18U County Cup team playing in Newport later in February.
Mother, Liz, who older son Will is also an accomplished international junior tennis player, said: “We are very proud of her and she has worked hard all year, to be selected is the icing on the cake.
“Her coaches at Bath have also worked hard to get her to the standard that is required and been very supportive.’’
