MARLBOROUGH stretched their unbeaten run in Davis Wood League Central One to four matches with a 2-2 draw at Team Bath Buccs B.
Just before half time, Marlborough were awarded a short corner and a low corner strike from Anil Sud gave the visitors the lead.
Buccs started the second half pressing high but Marlborough held firm, Tom Palmer particularly notable.
A Buccs attack down the right gave time for a low strike which gave goalkeeper Brian Marnane no time to react and they took a 2-1 lead after a low drag flick.
Marlborough then reasserted themselves on the game and were unlucky to have a goal to be ruled out.
With 10 seconds remaining though, they were awarded a short corner.
The Buccs defence rushed out to stop Sud’s strike attempt but the deflection flew into the roof of the net.
Chippenham were 6-0 winners over Robinsons B in the same division, while Wootton Bassett saw off Old Bristolians A 5-3 in Central Two.
Devizes lost their top-of-the-table encounter with Cardiff & Met B 3-0.
CORSHAM took their goals scored tally to near the 40 mark as they swamped Wootton Bassett B 5-0 to continue their charge at the top of East Central Two.
Tom Styles got them off to a good start with his first goal for the club.
Tom Bowery again weighed in with a hat-trick with Ben Knowlden unleashing a close-range smash to round off the scoring.
