U11 CUP

TROWBRIDGE Town Youth remain unbeaten this season following a 5-1 win in the U11 league Cup at Derry Hill, thanks to a hat-trick from Scott Baker and two goals from Timothy Otto.

Six goals from last year’s finalists FC Chippenham saw them cruise to a comfortable victory over Steeple Ashton in the preliminary round of the competition.

Two goals from top scorer Christian Frimpong, plus two strikes from Sam Costain and goals from Marcus Fenton and sub Nathan Howell took them through before Ashton pulled back a consolation goal.

U14 BLUE DIVISION

DEVIZES Town kept up their unbeaten start thanks to an outstanding display by goalkeeper Adam Walters against Chippenham Town.

Chippenham took the lead through Nick Newth but Devizes equalised late on with an own goal to make it 1-1.

U9 GREEN DIVISION

CASTLE Combe Colts went top of the table with a 4-0 win at home to Derry Hill United.

A Matthew West hat-trick and Luca Cosentino effort were enough to secure the victory.

U9 ORANGE DIVISION

WESTBURY Youth edged local rivals Warminster 2-1 in their derby meeting.

Alfie Green scored the opener early in the second half with a left foot strike.

Warminster came close to equalising, but Luke Metcalf in the Westbury goal made a string of good saves.

Joe Cole doubled Westbury’s tally before Warminster scored from the penalty spot with five minutes to go.
