The Under 17/18’s League Cup final last night pitched division leaders Worton & Cheverell against Castle Combe Colts White.

The Whites took the lead on the 35th minute with a flying header well placed by Joe Hylands to make it 1-0 at half-time.

Two minutes into the second half Ryan Kubilius doubled the Whites lead before adding to his tally making it 3-0 on the hour mark.

Worton’s keeper, Martin Marshall, made an outstanding save before Luke Dibley sealed a 4-0 victory for the Whites.

Castle Combes Will Giles earned the man of the match trophy for an outstanding performance in defence for the Whites.

The game was refereed well by Steven Hogan and assistants Philip Boore and Rob Escott.

Steven Hogan picked up his trophy for achieving the highest marks throughout the season at level 7.
