A match that was largely decided by the fact that Bradford took their chances well while Westbury squandered theirs.

The first half started with Bradford in the ascendency and they presured Westbury goal right form the off.

However, as the half wore on westbury cam back into it.

Then after 15 minutes Bradford broke clear, and with the defence starting to get back their shape a great shot into the bottom corner bear the Westbury keeper to put them one up.

Then for a period most of the pressure came from Westbury, the high point of which was a shot from Jonny Tribick that came back off the crossbar.

This was follwoed a couple of minutes later by a great move from Westbury that saw Jack Coxall win some space in the Bradford area, he pulled a great ball back for a rapidly arriving Jonny Tribick, but unfortunately the shot went wide.

The game then really turned Bradford's way, they started to make the chances, but they scored a goal that owed a little to good fortune.

The Bradford player just inside the Westbury half played a high ball into the box that caught in the wind, whether intended as a shot or not it caught out the Westbury keeper and crept in above his gloves.

The pressure on the Westbury goal did not relent, despite the two goal lead and a couple of minutes later Bradford forced a corner.

From the corner a Bradford player managed to lose his marker and sent a perfect header into the net for a three nil half time lead.

The second half was pretty much all Westbury pressureo n the Bradford goal.

Time after time they made chances that they could not finish. Shots would go high or wide, balls pinging around the area would not fall cleanly at a Westbury foot and ultimately Bradford held out.
