Football: Frustrated Robbie Lardner has vowed to swap flair for brute force next season in a bid to kick his nice' Calne side up the league table.
The Lilywhites boss claimed half of his players didn't deserve to be paid for their inept display in the 2-0 home defeat to Welton on Saturday.
And Lardner is ready to shake things up in the summer after describing their mid table finish this season as a failure.

Lardner said: "The players are paid money here and I expect something in return for it - half the team didn't deserve a penny today.
"With the nucleus of players I've got here I expected us to be in the top eight as a minimum this season but
we haven't achieved that. It's my job to make sure the inconsistency we've shown is eradicated and we start getting a bit tougher - we're too nice.
"We've had a couple of bookings today for moaning at the ref, but I'd rather have a couple of bookings for someone coming out of a 50/50 tackle with blood running down his face.
"They're the sort of players we're lacking at the moment and we need to bring in four or five of them.
"We've got some nice footballers who do nice things with the ball but ultimately the Western League is all about rolling your shirt sleeves up, greasing up your eyebrows and going to war."
David Pearse put Welton ahead in the 16th minute when his close range strike from Kye Mountford's corner bobbled over the dive of Calne goalkeeper Steve Allison and into the net.
Croatian midfielder Pavol Kubovicu almost made it 2-0 soon afterwards but his 25-yard thunderbolt hit the outside of the post.
Calne upped their workrate after the break and they had a strong penalty appeal turned down when Danny Baker's goal-bound shot struck the arm of Rovers defender Jason Hughes in the box. But the hosts could not create a clear chance before Dean Evans doubled Welton's lead two minutes from the end.
Town defender Gary Blackwood failed to deal with a routine long ball and Evans burst through to fire the ball low past Allison one-on-one, sealing Calne's second successive defeat.
But despite criticising his side, Lardner says he is still enjoying life at the club.
He said: "I love this place, it's a great little club.
"I know I've moaned about the players today but they're a great group of lads.
"We have a good laugh and a few shouting matches and the committee work hard.
"I'm frustrated at our season but I'm perfectly happy -I have no intention of going anywhere."
