DIVISION ONE PREVIEW: Castle seek first win in league 11 outings

CASTLE FC, who have not won in 11 games will hope to break that sequence when they host North Star A at their Sands Lane base on Sunday morning.

That could be a big ask as Tom Perkins side have just won once on home soil in the last year.

Castle, as Crown FC (Rowde) last season, managed to take one point from their guests in their two meetings.

With both sides currently struggling at the wrong end of the table a draw is a good possibility which both sides would happily settle for at this early stage of proceedings.

FC Boroughs travel to New Road, Bromham where the hosts will be bidding to record back-to-back victories for the first time since January 2011.

Bromham (Sunday) may have defeated North Star A last weekend but they will have to be at their very best if they are to deny Boroughs what would be their second win of the season.

Honours were shared last season between Prestige Bodyworks and Biddestone White Horse with once win apiece and, with the sides set to meet at Buckley Barracks, there appears to be little between the sides again.

Prestige were unable to raise a team last weekend and they will need to be at full strength for the visit of Biddestone otherwise their guest may just repeat their 2-1 success from the corresponding fixture this time last season.
