DIVISION ONE PREVIEW: Prestige hope for more goals from Tyrell
1:00pm Friday 7th September 2012 in News
BOTH Steeple Ashton Rangers and Prestige Bodyworks would have been impressed with their opening day victories against respective opponents Biddestone White Horse and Castle FC, more so Prestige who will be hoping that striker Ryan Tyrell can add to the six goals he scored a week ago.
Ashton should provide stiff opposition to the visitors to St Mary’s and if both sides are on form it could result in a high-scoring game with the points being shared.
Castle FC, who were on the end of a 7-0 defeat last weekend, are scheduled to host old adversaries Bradford Renegades at their Sands Lane base.
Renegades hit 12 unanswered goals in their opening game and could be in the goals again. After completing the double over Tom Perkins' men last term they will be favourites to make it three wins on the trot.
In two incredible games of football last season, FC Boroughs and Corsham United fought out two draws.
A week after they drew 0-0 the sides shared 10 goals so this encounter is unpredictable and may just see Corsham edge things as this is Boroughs first game.
But the Malmesbury-based side are usually good starters so they have a realistic chance of picking up maximum point from a game that sees them tipped to lose.
