CHIPPENHAM SUNDAY LEAGUE WG PARR TROPHY PREVIEW: Cavalier bid for upset

COME Sunday afternoon, the line-up for this season’s Westernsport Trophies-sponsored WG Parr Trophy Final should be known.

Premier Division FC Colerne await the winners of the delayed semi-final clash at Poulton which looks as if it will be a one-sided affair.

It pairs together first division champions-elect Bradford Renegades and Division Three basement side Cavalier

Renegades, who reached this stage with wins over Talbot FC (9-2), FC Brunel (12-0) and North Star A, who they beat 3-2, should have few problems in making it to their first-ever final.

Cavalier ,who have yet claim a league win, have saved their best for this cup competition and having disposed of first division Castle in the previous round after a penalty shootout win over Trowbridge Town Supporters Club which was preceded with a bye.

Renegades with their superior firepower ought to cruise into April’s final.
