CHIPPENHAM SUNDAY LEAGUE DIVISION FOUR: Hanks treble earns United victory

FC United of Chippenham picked up a morale-boosting victory at home to Worton & Cheverell (Sunday).
Worton, who beat Dudley Philpott’s side 10-3 at the start of January, were on the receiving end of a 5-3 defeat in the reverse clash.
Worton fell two goals behind when Adam Gerrard got the slightest of touches to a free kick to give FC United the lead and Gerrard then added a second to make it 2-0.
Kieran Dickinson reduced the arrears only for Jack Hicks to make it 3-1. Kyle Davies kept Worton in the game when he found the net just before half time.
After the break Worton fashioned an equaliser, Nick Waring slotting home for 3-3.
FC United retook the lead via a Jack Hanks penalty and when Hanks scored his third of the morning it was game over for Worton who knocked on the door but were unable to break it down as they looked for a way back into the game.
Oakhill FC 3 Melksham Cosmos 2
OAKHILL FC bounced back from last week's 2-1 loss to Trowbridge Town Supporters Club with a 3-2 victory over a Melksham Cosmos side who had edged a seven-goal thriller the last time the teams.
On this occasion it was Oakhill who came up trumps when they had twice looked to have thrown away a win.
Dan Payne saw his opener for Oakhill cancelled out by a Marc Bowden penalty.
A second from Payne regained the lead for Oakhill in the second and once again Bowden drew Cosmos level with his second spot kick of the game.
Both teams had chances to added to their goals before Jason Forde headed home what proved to be the winner for Oakhill 15 minutes from time.
Sportzcoach Dragonz United 3 Trowbridge Rangers (Sunday) 0
SPORTZCOACH Dragonz United, who gave up home advantage to travel to Trowbridge Rangers (Sunday), were rewarded for their efforts in getting a game played with a 3-0 win at Whaddon Lane that sees them close the gap on the top two sides FC North Wiltshire and Old Road.
Dan Barnett gave Sportzcoach a half time lead and further goals in the second period from Paul Cuthbertson and Dan Kirk - their first ever goals for the club - secured them a much-needed victory as they look to keep themselves in the promotion race.
