CHIPPENHAM SUNDAY LEAGUE DIVISION THREE PREVIEW: Bremhill view Corsham Park upset

CORSHAM  Park Rangers sit atop the Division Three table thanks to a better goal difference than FC Buscots.

Rangers have proved to be the surprise package so far and with relegation-threatened Bremhill View Boys, who have yet to win a game next up, Spear’s men ought pick up maximum points for a 10th time.

PSC Galaxy may have slipped down the rankings to fourth spot but Pete Huntley’s side, who have not played since early December when they were beaten by FC Buscots, should begin their climb back up the table with a victory away at basement side Cavalier FC who they beat 7-1 in September.

Cavalier claimed a massive shock by beating Castle in their last outing, but another upset seems very unlikely.

Christian Malford play host to a Pig & Whistle United A side who, after opening with two wins were expected to go on to great things.

But seven matches later they have failed to win another game and find themselves slipping closer to the danger zone.

Malford, who after four defeats beat their guests 5-2 to ignite their own revival, are tipped to complete their first league double of the season.

FC Buscots put their 100 per cent start to the season on the line at home to North Star B who they have already beaten 4-2 this term.

Pack Horse Rangers who have not won in three will be out to bring their poor run to an end when they take on Talbot Inn at what will hopefully be a dry Stanley Park.

The sides drew three apiece when they last met but Vic Long’s Talbot side who are currently in third spot should claim victory and with it a fifth straight win to keep them in the hunt for a top two finish.
