FA VASE: GE Hamble 6 Wootton Bassett Town 0

Wootton Bassett Town were dumped out of the FA Vase last weekend as they were thrashed by Wessex League Premier Division outfit GE Hamble.

Dave Turner's side were unbeaten in all competitions going in to Saturday's clash but they were brought back down to earth with a bump as the Hampshire hosts ran riot.

Bassett are in FA Cup first qualifying round action this Friday evening against local rivals Highworth Town at Rylands Way.
