THE Division Three title race took another intriguing twist on Sunday at Fascia Graphics' Meriton Avenue.
Fascia had struggled in recent weeks and with the wheels threatening to fall off their season, they knew a result against fellow promotion hopefuls Bar OC was crucial.
Fascia's first attempt came on 37 minutes when Steve Allison pounced on an under-hit back pass from Danny Rawlings, but the striker's chip drifted wide of Mark Stonestreet's goal.
Two minutes later Bar's Darren Brown cracked a 35-yard volley wide. Bar's midfield were by now starting to gain the upper hand and Drown and Rawlings linked well on 34 minutes, Rawlings' cross was palmed away by Barber before Luke Enderby could pounce.
However, the opening goal came a minute later.
Drown was adjudged to have been pushed by Craig Lovesey, and Mikey O'Donnell steeped up to calmly slot the spot kick home.
With four minutes left in the half, Mark Smith's corner eluded the Bar defence and Harvey arriving late at the back post could only deflect his header wide.
The game was killed off in the last ten minutes.
On 81 minutes Tom Paget's header caught the Fascia back four flat footed, and Powell skipped round Barber to tap into an empty net.
Three minutes later, a mirror image third goal was scored. This time Lovesey and Barber both hesitated and Powell again rounded the keeper to score.
Bar go into their final game still with an outside chance of taking the title.
