RIDGEWAY and Zurich will contest next month's Swindon Advertiser Cup final.

Ridgeway roared to a 5-0 victory against AFC Abbey Rodbourne, and Zurich beat Queensfield 1-0, thanks to an early strike from Vince Meredith.

James Turpie and Carl Wheeler helped Premier side Southbrook go joint first in the table after beating Liden 2-0.

In Division One, Milton Club stormed Rodbourne in an 11-1 win. Danny Harper, Matthew Greenland, Dave Young, Les Hall, Steve King (2), James Platt (2) and a hat-trick from Dean Veale were the scorers.

Lower Stratton and Ramsbury battled out a goalless draw.

Trailers were beaten 4-0 by Green Baize Reserves thanks to goals by John Daly (2), Kevin Murphy and Paul Davis.

Leaders Merlin put five goals past the Walcot defence, eventually winning 5-1. Matthew Whitaker, Richie Baker (2) and Neil Herring (2) all scoring.

Second-placed Eastville took the three points from their game against Wason & Webb with a 3-1 win despite the efforts of Mark Brown.

Reliable scorers Chris Rivers, Nigel Lord and Martin Lewis all netted for Eastville.
