CORSHAM missed a plethora of chances but still ran out comfortable winners in a keenly contested derby at The Southbank on Wednesday night.
Devizes got their noses in front as early as the second minute when Danny Sloan's speculative long-range effort rebounded off the crossbar and Jamie Mullings was the first to react.
The home side then got a foothold in the game and began to dominate, drawing level on 27 minutes through Ben Fitch before Devizes hit back through a Sloan volley.
After Devizes goalkeeper Matt Penfold gifted Toby Colbourne an equaliser, Corsham managed to get their noses in front when Scott Lye hooked John Eldred's corner beyond Penfold.
Colbourne scored his second goal with a powerful header to leave the score 4-2 at half-time.
Both teams scored again in the second half, former Devizes manager Dave Hopkins playing in Colbourne for his hat-trick, before free-scoring Mullings grabbed a consolation to take his personal tally to six goals in five games.
