Melksham manager Wayne Thorne has told his players on all fronts ahead of the weekend’s trip to Cadbury Heath in the Les Phillips Cup.
The young boss is greedy for success in his first season in the job and the club has already progressed to the quarter finals of the Wiltshire Shield and is currently flying high in the Toolstation Premier Division.
They have five of their six away games in the league but Thorne has urged his squad to not take victory over their lower-level opposition for granted.
“They are winning the league below and it will be a tough game,” he said.
“However our away form is outstanding at the moment.
“Everybody knows how disappointed I was to go out of the FA Vase when we did.
“I want to win trophies as a manager. We progressed last weekend in the Wiltshire Senior Cup and this is another competition I want to do well in.”
Melksham have no new injuries to worry about ahead of the clash but striker Shaun Bennison is with Team Bath and will be unavailable.
