Corsham Town play hosts to Bideford tomorrow with caretaker boss Graham Learmonth looking for an improvement after the side narrowly held on for a point at Devizes last weekend.
They will not be helped by the news that central defenders Craig Fulham and Craig Gingell will both miss the fixture although Dan Sloan could make his return. The versatile 19-year-old missed last week’s derby game after falling down the stairs in his house but may be back earlier than expected.
“We thought he might be out for around four weeks initially but hopefully he can play tomorrow,” said Learmonth.
“If so, we may look to slot him into defence. We are short there at the moment and he’s played in that position before this year and done well.”
Midfield posed a problem to Learmonth last week with Matt Windle being just one of the players who was asked to play out of position to help the team.
Corsham currently sit 11th in the Toolstation League but will leapfrog their opponents if they collect all three points tomorrow.
