Calne handed clash with league newcomers

Football: Calne Town will kick off their 2008/9 league campaign at home to Wellington.

Robbie Lardner's boys will take on the Toolstation League Premier Division newcomers on August 9, after the fixture list was released today.

Calne will travel to local rivals Devizes Town the following Saturday (August 16) for their FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round clash.

Then they travel to Bishop Sutton on Tuesday August 19 for their next league clash.
