Pewsey Vale went out of the cup to Wiltshire neigbours TrowbridgeTown.
The vale again were missing their two top strikers Craig Wall and Scott Ward,through injury.
Pewsey had a early scare,when John Woods won the ball just out-side the box,but he shot just inches wide of the far post in the first minute.
A scamble in the Pewsey goal area on 19 minutes saw the vale keeper Stewart Thompson make a brilliant save,with the final ball going for a corner.
Pewsey were denied by goalkeeper Lewis Porter,who made a point blank save on 27 minute.
Then five minutes later saw another chance for Trowbridge,when the vale gave another free kick away,just out side the box,but the vale's defensive wall blocked the kick by Craig Brown.
The game went into the break all square,but on the 68 th minute,the deadlock was broke when Trowbridge were awarded a corner kick,when the ball came clearly off their own player,and the corner was headed home by Booker Woodford.
Pewsey Vale then made a change bringing on James Hambridge for Danny Hogan on the 70 th minute.
Then Dave Percival, who was now dictating the play, for Trowbridge went through the Pewsey defence,to set up Woodford, for his second goal in the 77th minute.
With ten minutes left on the clock,the Vale brought on Liam Edmondson and William Bryant, for James Turner and new signing Andrew Derry.
Pewsey altrough playing good football were unable to get back in the game Jeff Matthews
