Clubs slammed for snubbing Wiltshire league side

The Wiltshire League representative side are in action at Chippenham Town tonight, kick-off 7.30pm.

They entertain the Reading League in the FA National League System Cup, with the eventual winners of the competition playing in Europe at the end of the season.

Wiltshire manager Mark Love said he was disappointed with the response from the county's clubs.

He said: "They were all notified and asked to put forward any player they thought should be considered, just four clubs replied so the squad is made up of mostly local players.

"I understand the opposition have had four trial games to our one but I am sure our lads will give it their best."

Wiltshire League squad: Curtis Sharkey, Arron Smith, Ashley Maslan, Jordan King, Richard Poulton, Chris Rivers, John Dart, Neurin Jones (Capt), Tom Dingle, Mark Dolman, Glenn Armstrong, Tom Pang, Steve Tye and Lee Curtis.
