Calne boss Robbie Lardner is hoping his team can make a name for themselves in the FA Vase, after a confidence-boosting 2-0 win at Radstock.
First-half goals from Gary Banks and Ben Moore sealed a hard-fought victory in the league on Tuesday night.
The Lilywhites travel to Hellenic Premier League side Witney United on Saturday, for the second qualifying round in the Vase.
Lardner said he was expecting a tough match, but the belief in the side was beginning to grow after back-to-back wins.
"The Vase is always a competition that, if you get a kind draw, you have got an opportunity to make a name for yourself," he said.
"But Witney is a very tough draw and they are doing well in the Hellenic Premier.
"We have had a difficult start to the season, but we have had a lot of people away and we've been turning up to matches with our back four or midfield missing.
"We are slowly getting everyone back now and the squad is looking stronger, so we are looking to push on now.
"We maybe haven't been playing with a lot of confidence, but results breed that."
Calne started Tuesday night's encounter well and were in front early on when Banks' left foot effort found the bottom corner.
The lead was doubled later in the half when Banks and Lardner combined to play through Ben Moore, who calmly slotted home.
In the second half, Calne had to withstand some pressure from the home side.
Radstock hit the post and, with ten minutes to go, won a penalty for a Jake Jefferies trip.
But keeper Steve Allison made a fine save to preserve the clean sheet.
"Radstock offered enough of a threat to make it difficult for us and they put us under pressure," said Lardner.
Calne will be without captain Steve Casey, Matt Ralph and Danny Jones for Saturday's match.
