KINTBURY Rangers lifted the Premier Division title in style as they romped to a 4-0 success at Trowbridge Town on Saturday.

Having beaten Purton 6-2 last Thursday night to take over at the top of the table with one match remaining, Rangers wrapped up the silverware as goals from Liam Thorne, George Smith, Charlie Allsop and Harry Way ended the recent improved form of Trowbridge, who had won three on the trot.

That rendered the result of nearest rivals Melksham Town Reserves at Purton as irrelevant, but the former leaders were defeated in any case, slipping to a 3-1 reverse as Sam English and Chris Avery twice netted for Purton, Shaun Benison with Melksham's reply.

Elsewhere Cricklade Town finished their season on a high with a 5-1 home win over Westbury United Reserves.

Devan Bryan, the league's top scorer added two more to his tally to reach 48 for the campaign.

Craig Shand, Jonny Davoille and Tom McCulloch also netted for the victors, with Joe Morse scoring the consolation goal for Westbury as Cricklade wrapped up third spot in the table.

Shrewton United also ended their season on a positive note with a 4-1 away win over Malmesbury Victoria Development - their sixth straight win.

Jake Watson, Josh Sommerton, Matt Western and Jesse Walters found the net for United, Sam Jenner replying for Malmesbury.
