CALNE Town have appointed Ben Redford and Clive McDaid as joint managers following the departure of Dave Ferris at the end of last season.

A club statement from chairman Garry Murphy announced the appointment.

"After meeting potential applicants and being upfront in conversations. It was clear we had candidates on our doorstep and they have player connections to push the club forward.

"We want to build foundations again, Ben and Clive know the club inside out and understands the playing style required.

"For Calne Town it's a bold choice, however one that will bring stability and continuity.

"It's a step up for them both, however Ben and Clive have been extremely successful running Sunday side Bremhill View FC.

"They became the first team from Calne to win the Premier Division and ended the season completing a cup double.

"Best wishes to you both and welcome back to The Lilywhites."
