A SECOND-HALF hat-trick for Richard Tandy helped FC North Wiltshire to a 7-2 victoryat Westbury Conservative Club in one of only two Division Two fixtures at the weekend.

North Wilts went in front through Toby Watts who, after going on a mazy run lost the ball, only for it cannon back off him and into the net.

Josh Duckett caught Cons’ Club on the counter attack to make it 2-0 before Conor Stevens pulled a goal back for the Cons.

Ryan Day tapped home North Wilts third prior to Ryan Underwood scoring with a delicate chip over the Cons’ keeper to keep the game alive.

After that things went downhill as a Richard Tandy scored a three goals in the final 15 minutes to make it 6-2 and a second from Duckett who smashed the ball home made the final score 7-2.

Three goals in each half earned Cavalier a 6-0 victory over Old Road FC who need to win one of their three remaining fixtures if they are to have any hope of beating the drop to Division Three.

Old Road who really struggled for a side, almost went ahead through Jake Collins' volley, but that was the closest they got as Adam Bewley with two first-half goals and Matt Hale’s single gave them a 3-0 lead.

A third from Bewley that took his tally for the season to 14, Leigh Blanchard and Ashley Lock added the others.
