LUXOL St Andrews booked themselves a meeting with Stockton & Codford in this season’s Briken Motors & AM Print & Copy-sponsored A&B Cup after coming from behind to defeat cup holders and first division stablemates Freshford United 3-2 at Brown’s Park.
After Josh Hard opened the scoring for Luxol, Gavin Eyre restored parity for Freshford when he drilled home a free kick after a foul on Weleed Bakali.
And it was the hosts who went ahead, Theo Sing making the most of confusion in the visitors' defence to make it 2-1.
Luxol managed to drag themselves level prior to half-time, Sam Clarke netting a stunning 20-yard free kick to make it two apiece.
After the break both teams went in search of a winner and it was Luxol and Hard who grabbed the all-important goal, after being played in by Jake Sainsbury.
