WHAT was scheduled as a league fixture between Aces & Zeals at the Sullis Club, Bath, became a first outing in Group B of the Division Two Cup for both teams when it was moved to Zeals.
After a closely-contested first half that saw Aces lead 3-2, they upped the pace in the second half to run out 7-2 winners.
Sean Adderly scored a four-timer for the winners and was also denied another four by the woodwork and Aziz Uddin netted a brace, however the goal of the game was netted by Rob Garraway who struck a 35-yard thunderbolt to make up the tally.
Aaron and Matt Carter replied for Zeals.
After suffering defeat in their opening Division Two Cup Group A fixture Warminster Town A have tasted success in their next two games.
A 2-1 victory at home to The Stiffs sees them move into second place in the standings.
The Stiffs led 1-0 at the break through a Steve Lewin goal. Parity was restored by Liam Gibbens on 75 minutes and Warminster’s winner came in injury time when Oliver McFerran netted to make it 2-1.
