BRADFORD Town sealed all three points as they picked up a 3-1 away win over Clevedon Town in the Toolstation League Premier Division.

Danny Greaves will be delighted with how his side came flying out of the blocks to take a 2-0 lead in the opening 10 minutes of the game.

Dan Cottle was the first to strike in the sixth minute before Laurent Davis-Wilson doubled the lead four minutes later.

By the time the visitors had reached the interval, they were three goals to the good following Mark Wall’s strike in the 35th minute.

The second half was a much quieter affair, with neither side able to add to the scoreline until substitute Ryan Gissing registered a late consolation in injury time.

Melksham Town were also in action and they couldn’t make amends for last weekend’s defeat at the hands of Shepton Mallet as they drew 1-1 with Willand Rovers – Sam Jordan got the goal.

In the First Division, Malmesbury Victoria brought their seven-game winless run to an end with a 2-1 victory away at Cheddar.

Ant Brown got Kevin Bridgeman’s troops on track when he scored from the spot before Sam Parker’s effort ensured the points were coming to the Flying Monk Ground.

Devizes Town struggled this weekend as they were comfortably beaten by Wincanton Town in a 4-1 defeat in Somerset.

Chippenham Park’s remarkable turnaround in form continues as they collected their fourth win in a row with a 2-1 victory over visiting Radstock Town, thanks to goals from Ben Pring and Aaron Ledgister.

However, Warminster Town didn’t have the same level of success this weekend as they were dispatched 4-0 at the hands of Hengrove Athletic.

Neil and Joe Kirkpatrick will be happy again this weekend as they were able to navigate Westbury United to back-to-back victories following a 2-0 win over Welton Rovers, which came courtesy of a Jamie Jordan double.

League strugglers Corsham Town and Calne Town were both left with a familiar taste in their mouths as they lost 3-2 away to Roman Glass St George and 2-1 to Portishead Town respectively.

Aaron Witchell notched the consolation for Calne, while Robbie Burton and Josh Bright were on target for Corsham.

In Sydenhams League Division One, Pewsey Vale succumbed to their 22nd league defeat of the season as they lost 4-1 to Baffins Milton Rovers at Ball Road.
