THE only Division Two fixture to beat the elements at the weekend was at Highbury, Warminster, where leaders Calne Eagles sealed a top two finish and extended their lead over main title rivals Three Daggers to six points.
Eagles defeated hosts Warminster Town A 4-1 and had it not been for the hosts' keeper Will Guerri-Brown, who produced a number of great saves, the winning margin would have been greater.
Leon Lloyd saw his opener for Warminster count for nothing as an Adam Welch double and a goal apiece for Jordan Winter and Kieron Gleed sealed victory for Roy Wenham’s side.
