THE makeup of the Wiltshire Football League for season 2007/8 has been announced.
Eighteen teams comprise the flagship Premier Division, including local outfits Blueprint Chiseldon, Wroughton, Westside, Purton, New College Swindon, Marlborough Town, Malmesbury Vics and Devizes Town.
Aldbourne FC, who have recently merged with Stratton Rovers, have been reinstated in the Premier Division.
Twelve of the 13 sides in Division One are from Swindon and the surrounding area, with Castle Combe the only exception.
Lower Stratton, Stratton Juniors and Wroughton Reserves have all been promoted from Division Two, with Marlborough Reserves moving in the opposite direction.
Local interest in Division Two will centre around Aldbourne Reserves (formerly Stratton Rovers Reserves), Intel, Blunsdon United Reserves, Minety Reserves, Swindon Irons and Swindon Victoria.
Full Wiltshire League 2007/08 constitution: Premier Division: AFC Trowbridge Town Youth, Aldbourne, Blueprint Chiseldon, Bradford Town, Bromham, Calne Town, Corsham Town, Devizes Town, Malmesbury Victoria, Marlborough Town, Melksham Town, New College, Pewsey Vale, Purton, Shrewton United, Westbury United, Westside, Wroughton.
Division One: AFC Abbey Rodbourne, AFC Castrol, AFC Rodbourne, AFC Stratton, Blunsdon United, Castle Combe, Lower Stratton, Minety, Pinehurst United, SKS Blyskawica, Stratton Juniors, Westlecot United, Wroughton Reserves.
Division Two: Aldbourne Reserves, Blunsdon United Reserves, Chalke Valley, Dynamo CDR, FC Chippenham, Intel, KC, Marlborough Town Reserves, Minety Reserves, Swindon Irons, Swindon Victoria, Westside Reserves.
