MELKSHAM Town and Bradford Town retained an interest in the FA Vase after Saturday's second-round proper ties.

Melksham's trip to Hartley Wintney was in vain as their game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, with the sides now scheduled to meet on Tuesday evening.

Meanwhile, Bradford Town will earn a second crack at trying to get to the next stage as they returned from Brimscombe & Thrupp with a 2-2 draw.

Bradford had taken a first-half lead from the spot when Dan Cottle was hauled down, allowing Martin Lenihan to dispatch his penalty in the 12th minute.

The hosts then hit back on the stroke of half time to make sure it was level going into the second half.

It was the hosts who took the initiative to take the lead for the first time in the game in the 49th minute.

But Greaves’ side came up with the goods late on when Matt Morris’ strike levelled, with the sides scheduled to meet again on Wednesday.

In the Toolstation Premier Division, Malmesbury Victoria were on the end of at 4-0 drubbing as they visited Wellington.

However Warminster Town put four past their opponents Roman Glass St George in a 4-1 home triumph, with Josh Ferguson grabbing a hat-trick while Jack Miluk got the fourth.

James Goddard’s Westbury United  were on the wrong side of a 4-1 score line as they lost at home to Cheddar, George Bendle getting their consolation effort.

An 89th-minute goal from Stephen Friend meant it was Chard Town who snatched all three points from Calne Town in a 2-1 result, following Mark Lovesey’s equaliser. It was Calne's fifth defeat in a row.

After conceding five last time out, Corsham Town earned a 0-0 draw with Wincanton.

In the Sydenhams Division One, Pewsey Vale's game against Christchurch was called off, as was Royal Wootton Bassett Town's Hellenic League Premier Division clash at Burnham.
