FORMER Chippenham Town manager Darren Perrin has denied he will be the new boss of Mangotsfield United.
The Field have been looking for a manager after Lee Howells resigned from Cossham Street at the end of the season and Perrin had been linked to a return to the dug out after five months away.
"I've not applied and I have heard all the rumours linking me with it but I will not be Mangotsfield's new manager," said Perrin who was sacked by the Bluebirds in February.
The 38-year-old made the short list of three for the Western-super-Mare hotseat last month, and admitted he wants to get back into the game.
"I love football," he said. "Whether it is the Wiltshire League or the Premier League I just enjoy my football."
