COLIN Bush was named Toolstation League Manager of the Season the day after quitting his position at the Southbank.

Corsham Town's former boss resigned on Friday after guiding his team to the Premier Division championship and was confirmed as the winner at the presentation evening in Torquay on Saturday.

Bush also won manager of the month for April, but was not at the ceremony to pick up the award because he is on his summer holiday.

"I've had an absolutely amazing four years at Corsham and the success we've had has been phenomenal," said Bush.

"I knew when it was the right time to leave Chippenham and I know this is the time to say goodbye to Corsham.

"It's not been an easy decision by any means. I'm not just walking away because we are champions, but what more can we achieve?"
