PEWSEY Vale endured a week to forget as they conceded 12 goals in two games to stretch their losing run to six matches.
Adi Holcombe’s side, who remain second-from-bottom in the Sydenhams League Division One, were embarrassed 9-0 at third-placed Tadley Calleva last Saturday.
James Tennant proved chief antagonist as the Tadley man struck five goals – including a first-half hat-trick – in Hampshire, whilst Scott Kinge and Sam Hamilton were also on target, with the pair snaffling two goals each to heap misery on Vale.
Brett Denham also passed up a handful of opportunities to extend the home team’s lead even further.
Then on Tuesday night, there were few home comforts for Holcombe’s charges as they were humbled 3-0 by Ringwood Town at Ball Road, with Sean Leadbetter scoring twice to add to an Elliot Peck effort.
