TROWBRIDGE Wanderers Ladies are celebrating after recording their first win in the Wiltshire Women’s & Girls League’s Open Age division at the weekend.

Wanderers had been awarded a walkover from a clash against Frome Town Ladies earlier in the campaign but this time, they clinched the points against Lavington with a 7-2 win at Lambrok Road.

Lavington scored first but Trowbridge replied, with captain Kelly Bradley hitting a hat-trick whilst Leah Beaven was also on target.

Just before the first half ended, Bradley was felled and Jenna Sawyer scored from the penalty spot.

The second half began with Lavington scoring their second goal, but Bradley netted twice more.

Bradley scored her fifth to wrap up the victory.

Swindon Spitfires Development closed the gap on the top three with a 1-0 win at Warminster Sky Blues, while Laverstock and Ford were 4-0 winners against Frome Town Ladies Reserves.

In the U17 Division, Bath City were unable to dent high-flying Trowbridge Town, losing 10-0 at home.
