DEVIZES Town were unable to put the brakes on Cribbs’ title challenge as they were put to the sword in Bristol last weekend.
Mark Barnes and Robbie Mitchell were both on target as Justin Webster and Darran Walters’ men took a 2-0 lead after half an hour.
But Cribbs soon laid siege to the Devizes goal, with Dave Gilroy and Tom Bradley netting to level things up.
Andrew Forward headed home a corner to make it 3-2 before notching a carbon copy from another Dominic Graffagnino delivery.
Devizes then conceded again from another corner-kick, with Tim O’Loughlin nodding home Cribbs’ fifth of the afternoon.
