JAMES Constable has played down his and Kidderminster Harriers' chances of being one of the first to play at the new Wembley Stadium.
Harrier's go into their FA Trophy semi final second leg with Northwich Victoria tomorrow 2-0 up, and in sight of the final on Saturday, May 11.
However, Constable, who scored the second, and potentially crucial, goal at the Aggborough Stadium last Saturday, is playing it cool.
"It is going to be a massive game but we are trying to play it down," said the former Chippenham Town striker.
"We need to keep things in perspective and make sure we treat is as just another game. The biggest problem for the manager has been keeping our eyes off Wembley, although everyone wants to be one of the first to play there.
"We cannot starting thinking about it until we are through."
Constable also rubbished the view that a two goal cushion should see his side progress.
"They can easily do the same to us so we need to go into the game and play like we know we can," he said.
"I am quite confident in my ability and hopefully I can score like last week."
Harrier's beat title chasing Oxford United 1-0 in the Conference National on Tuesday to keep their play off push alive.
Constable, who signed from Walsall permanently in January after a successful loan spell, believes the side can still win promotion.
"We went on a great run when I first arrived and then lost four on the bounce, but we've won our last two so we're still confident," he said.
"I wouldn't mind postponing my holidays for the play offs."
For now though, the 22-year-old is fielding a few calls from friends and family, just in case he gets through to one of the first Wembley finals.
"A lot of people have rung and asked if it is at Wembley, which is a nice feeling," he said.
"However, the job is only half done and it is massively important to get the result so we can enjoy it for two months before the final."
