THE season is becoming a real toothache, according to Corsham boss Colin Bush.
The manager was left deflated after Tuesday night's match at Devizes Town was called off, and is expecting the same when his team travel to Calne Town tomorrow night.
Replaced by Bridgwater at the top of the division at the weekend, his side have not played since February 24 and have lost their last two games.
He said: "There is no continuity and the season is becoming a toothache.
"When we were playing week in, week out we were not losing games. Now it is stop start, it does not take a genius to work out when we are at our best.
"Everyone is a bit flat, and now it is a case of motivating the team for Friday. Hopefully it is on, but the pitch is heavy and the next lot of rain is due that day."
Corsham's squad reported in for training on Monday ahead of Tuesday's match but Bush's side need to be playing, with 17 games to cram into two months.
"I spent all day Tuesday sorting everything out and then all night cancelling it," moaned Bush.
"It was very disappointing. We have cleared up a few injuries, but you don't know how players are going to return. The season could fall into an absolute mess."
