Despite falling behind the Brewery boys’ grew into the game and should have leveled on seven minutes, Simon Parfitt going close and moments later Jamie Kinchly had a goal bound effort cleared off the line.

They levelled things up in the 10th minute, Gavin Francis smashing the ball home from 16 yards to make it 1-0 on the day and they really should have squared things up on aggregate midway through the half, Parfitt wasting a good opportunity to put his team in front.

Now bossing proceedings the Brewery boys’ were to waste more chances before half time, Francis was inches away from getting the touch to a Parfitt cross and United’s keeper Lukasz Bareja did well to keep out Matt Hall’s diving header.
