KIAS Bonner-Shea’s 90th minute free-kick sent Pewsey Vale through to a third Salisbury & District Hospital Cup final in five years on Tuesday night.
Vale, who beat Downton to win the competition in 2011 and were losing finalists at the hands of Laverstock & Ford on 2013, will bid for silverware once again this term after beating Sydenhams League Premier Division Bemerton Heath Harlequins 2-1 at Ball Road.
Top-scorer Tom Ritchie put Nick Maggs’ men in front just before half-time but after the Harlequins hit back, young substitute Bonner-Shea curled in a last-gasp set-piece to win the semi-final for Pewsey.
On Saturday, Maggs’ side were beaten 1-0 in the league by Ringwood Town.
Vale take on Downton this weekend in a sixth successive home game.
