WOOTTON Bassett Town slipped to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Thatcham Town tonight.
Bassett, who had won their last two games, were undone as the visitors’ Alex Oakman netted in the 79th minute before Chris Gerrard grabbed Thatcham’s second five minutes later.
Paul Braithwaite's side slip to 14th in the Hellenic League Premier Division and aren't in action again until they host league leaders Highmoor Ibis on Saturday December 6.
